The Judicial Bureau of Zizhou County, which was established in 1980, is a branch level administrative organ. It governs 18 grass-roots judicial offices, including law popularization office, community correction office and "148" legal service office, with notary office, law firm and Legal Aid Center under it. There are 86 staff in the whole system, including 27 in the Bureau, 46 in the judicial office, 5 in the notary office, 4 in the law office and 4 in the legal aid center. It is mainly responsible for legal publicity, people's mediation, community correction, release from prison, placement, legal aid, etc. it is one of the constituent departments of the county government in charge of the county's judicial administration.
